We completed Heroic: The Secrets of Ulduar and Heroic: The Descent into Madness. With only around 20 total attempts on Yogg, we defeated this boss only the second time we saw phase 3. At first this fight seems very complex and chaotic. After really understanding everyones individual job, and staying calm this fight became very very easy. Now that we have cleared Ulduar, we are going to start working on hard modes seriously.

General Vezax down! After a few nights of being absolutely terrible, we came in fresh and destroyed this guy. Having a DK tank is just totally OP for this fight. We used our Prot Pally to blow up the green shit, and our prot warrior lead the interrupt team (Prot Warrior, DPS Warrior, Rogue).

After one full day of attempts, we came back on Monday June 1st and got the kill very early in the raid, leaving us plenty of time to work on General.

Finally killed Thorim, and it was a struggle for us. It took a few nights of attempts to get him. The main issue for us was finding the right balance between the hallway and the arena.

Killed Freya after a few attempts tonight. After explaining everything in a very detailed manner, so that everyone really understood how the 6 trash waves worked, this fight became a lot easier. Once the trash waves are down, phase 2 begins and all you have to do is continue to kill the trees and avoid the green shit.

After messing with the pull for a few attempts, we killed this boss pretty easily. We decided to ignore the adds and let the aoe naturally kill them, leading to only one void zone and one movement. Over all this boss is pretty easy. Killing this boss gave us the Heroic: The Antechamber of Ulduar achievement.

After we moved our DK from DPSing to Tanking, and our healers figured out how to heal it, this was an extremely easy fight. We actually defeated the assembly the first time we got past Steelbreaker. We picked up the achievement Heroic: I Choose You, Stormcaller Brundir with this kill.

We picked up Heroic: Shattered on Ignis the Furnace Master after shattering 2 Iron Constructs within 5 seconds this week.

After many attempts we finally got this guy down with 23 people. 1 min before the enrage. We found the key to this fight is to have your tank get good at finding fire buffs for the melee and getting the good guys out of the freeze asap so they can buff the raid. We picked up Heroic: I Have the Coolest Friends on our first kill.
